Air Tahiti Nui operates its flights from the International Terminal. Eligible passengers will be invited to relax in the Strata Lounge prior to their international departure.

Check-In Counter
To locate the check in counter for your Air Tahiti Nui flight at the International Terminal, please refer to the electronic Flight Information Display System (FIDS) upon arrival in the Auckland Airport Transportation Hub for the counter assigned to your flight. This will vary during a reconstruction phase at Auckland Airport that is expected to last until 2028-2029.
Check-In Counter Hours of Operation
- Opens: 3 hours prior to departure
- Closes: 1 hour prior to departure
- Boarding Gate Closes 15 minutes prior to departure
Minimum Connection Times
NOTE: The times listed represent the absolute minimum connection times, but the times shown do not guarantee a connection. Due to regular airport congestion Air Tahiti Nui recommends adding at least 30 minutes to the guidelines below.
- International to International: 1 hour 15 minutes
- International to Domestic: 1 hour 30 minutes
- Domestic to International: 1 hour 15 minutes

Pick-ups and Drop-offs

Full-Service Lounges
Discover the comfort of the Strata Lounge at Auckland Airport. An invitation is provided to all Air Tahiti Nui passengers travelling in Poerava Business Class and to Club Tiare Gold members as they arrive at the airport.
Flying in Moana Economy or Mānava Premium class? Enjoy the facilities and services of the Strata Lounge with the Lounge Pass. This option can be purchased online, by phone, at the Air Tahiti Nui Agency or at the check-in counter (subject to availability).
The lounge is located on the level 2 of the Auckland Airport International Terminal. It offers a WiFi connection to allow you to connect to your personal devices, and showers to ensure your comfort during the trip.
The Strata Lounge is equipped with WiFi and a work area, a children's play area, showers, and a catering service. You can also enjoy a bar serving all kinds of refreshments and hot drinks, as well as a self-service buffet.
It is open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. An invitation is provided upon arrival.
