Holimoods - The taste of beauty, meaning and sustainability
Holimoods - My Island Home is much more than a boutique: it is a concept store dedicated to the eco-designed fashion and accessories of the Holimoods brand, while also showcasing local creations. It is a colorful world filled with poetry and a true Polynesian soul, where everyone can find a piece that feels like their own, guided by desire, instinct and the pleasure of discovery.

Imagine a place where every item is unique, entirely handmade, and created with deep respect for traditional skills. A space where you discover fair-trade pieces that are also original, practical and made to last. Because Laureline Reynaud, the founder of Holimoods, is driven by a profound respect for life in all its forms.
Holimoods: a boutique between creativity and commitment
The boutique offers cosmetics, jewelry, clothing, home decor, works of art, books, a selection of local gourmet products, and even a corner for children and babies. What all these items have in common is a commitment to sustainable fashion and design.
Holimoods the brand and Holimoods the boutique are now inseparable. The brand was born in 2012; the boutique, opened in late 2024, is its natural extension. It has become an essential place for welcoming the creative, generous universe of Laureline Reynaud, supported by her husband Max, her partner in life and adventure.
Holimoods began as a love story. After a life-changing trip to India, Laureline decided to create her brand there, with the idea of distributing it in Tahiti, where she lives and where she grew up. The name “Holimoods” echoes Holi, India’s vibrant festival of color, and our “moods” - our changing states of mind - like an invitation to express personality through color, clothing and everyday objects.
Timeless products made to last
The union of these two countries gave rise to a distinctive universe: entirely natural Indian fabrics worked with a Polynesian identity. The result is Holimoods, whose logo features the traveler’s tree, both exotic and symbolic, rooted in an eco-responsible spirit.
On furniture made from natural materials - vintage pieces or items crafted by an association with a social and solidarity mission - sit bags, pouches, cases, cushions, towels and clothing decorated with archival photographs of local life from the past. These images are colorized, then printed on floral fabrics so that old and new can meet in harmony. The pieces become lasting souvenirs, both through the quality of their materials and through their everyday use.
Far removed from the idea of an ordinary tourist keepsake, each creation is designed to stand the test of time, carefully made with respect for materials, labor and the environment. Against the tide of ultra-fast fashion - disposable, highly polluting and destructive - Holimoods defends another vision: timeless products, created to last with meaning and elegance.
Ethical fashion, between craftsmanship and commitment
The products are eco-responsible. More than a selling point, this is first and foremost a true way of life that Laureline carries with her every day.
Because the fenua does not produce textiles, Laureline looks to India for the materials that inspire her: 100% natural fabrics, organic or recycled cotton, jute canvas and fully handcrafted textiles. For more than ten years, she has worked with an Indian workshop of tailors and seamstresses who, over time, have become friends - almost a second family.
From kimonos to pouches and cushions, each fabric is carefully chosen. The patterns are hand-printed, and the dyes are plant- or mineral-based - neither allergenic nor polluting - so no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Prices remain accessible in view of the quality of the materials and the artisanal work involved.
This is the level of care Laureline seeks, both in aesthetics and in production. Beyond her affection for India, the goal is to highlight a remarkable traditional craft and a standard of manufacturing that is both fair and eco-responsible. It is a dual commitment between Tahiti and India, with each country bringing its own richness and expertise.
